Beacon Place

Beacon Place is a homelike hospice facility with 14 private rooms, located on the beautiful eight-acre HPCG campus at 2500 Summit Avenue in Greensboro, NC. Beacon Place serves patients with a prognosis of six to eight weeks, and whose caregivers are unable to provide the needed care. Beacon Place offers the finest health care. It is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week with both nurses and nursing assistants. It provides comprehensive patient care and support utilizing an interdisciplinary care team including:

  • Social Workers.
  • Nurses.
  • Chaplains.
  • Nursing assistants.
  • Medical director.
  • Bereavement counselors.
  • Volunteers.
  • Support staff.

History: Beacon Place is owned and operated by Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro (HPCG). It opened in June,1996, and was built as a collaboration among HPCG, Hospice of the Piedmont (High Point) and Triad Health Project.
