Beacon Place is a homelike hospice facility with 14 private rooms, located on the beautiful eight-acre HPCG campus at 2500 Summit Avenue in Greensboro, NC. Beacon Place serves patients with a prognosis of two months or less, and whose caregivers are unable to provide the needed care.

Beacon Place offers the finest health care. It is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with both nurses, and nursing assistants. It provides comprehensive patient care and support utilizing an interdisciplinary care team including:

    • Social Workers
    • Nurses
    • Chaplains
    • Nursing Assistants
    • Medical Director
    • Bereavement Counselors
    • Volunteers
    • Support Staff

History: Beacon Place is owned and operated by Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro (HPCG).Opened in June,1996, Beacon Place was built as a collaboration between HPCG, Hospice of the Piedmont (High Point) and Triad Health Project. While Beacon Place provides care to HPCG patients with any diagnosis, priority admission is given to patients with HIV/AIDS.
